Avoiding a Headache

Most people with chronic headaches find that exercise reduces headache pain and frequency, according to the National Headache Foundation. Some sufferers find exercise provokes such pain, however. To reduce the risk of exercise-induced headaches: Warm up before working out; drink plenty of water before, during and after exercising; and don't skip meals.
